NUMBER ONE THIS, NUMBER ONE THAT
This year is ending and its very interesting to see photos of the top winners of the year 2015. The results seems to be up now in many countries and happy owners are posting the news. Well done all and i know its very hard work to put energy, time and money to trying to make No 1 in the breed, not to even talk about in the group or all-breed level.
But since i am getting old, i do often wonder if these kind of hard and sometimes political comp...etitions actually make some damage to the breed itself? After looking all these pictures and as a frequant traveller i see so many different variations and type of the breed around the world. What may winning in Usa and UK may not be a star in Europe or Russia. And vice versa too. Also very interesting that some of the judges really travel around the world and they have an opprtunity to see the worldwide selection of the dogs in so many breeds but still put so different size and type as winners. I know you could say that reason is because of the difference of the standards and quality in the country or it could be just the political decision also. After all the breed is with its characteristic special things same everywhere.

However, i would like to one more time to remind fellow breeders and all of you judges that what ever country you are breeding or judging, PAPILLONS are and always should be SMALL DAINTY ELEGANT STYLISH LIGHT OUTGOING TOYDOGS WITH EARS LIKE BUTTERFLY WINGS.
Lets respect this fabulous breed together also 2016 and most importantly lets talk and change ideas and learn , please !
